CIM (Common Information Model) is the infrastructure of IBM eServer strategic system management software "IBM Systems Director". CIM product will provide customers with flexible systems management capabilities to help realize maximum system availability and help lower IT costs.

IBM i CIM project is a CSTL owned project, the team get involved in product high level design, low level design, coding, testing, bug fix and level 3 support.

Desired Skills:
1. Good programming skills in C/C++, Shell, makefile
2. Good development skills on Unix/Linux systems
3. Multiple threads programming experiences
4. Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
5. Familiar with Java/XML is a plus
6. Self-motivated to solve problems, quick learner
7. Has passion to get work done on schedule with good quality
8. Good team player
9. Good collaboration skills
10. Strong adaptability  

Required
Master's Degree in Information Technology
Graduated within 18 months as well as 2010 graduate students
English: Fluent

Intern job Responsibilities

- CIM development will include feature design, coding, unit test,
bug fixing, level 3 support and etc.
- CIM Testing will include test planning, test design, automation
implementation, test execution and so on.

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
- More than 2 years experience in software design/development
- Good programming skills in C/C++ or Java, Shell scripting and
makefile
- Familiar with Linux and AIX operating system
- Multiple threads programming experiences will be a plus

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Solid technical background and strong adaptability
- Good communication skill in both Chinese and English
- Self-motivated to solve problems, quick learner
- Has passion to get work done on schedule and good quality
- Good team player
