Job Title:
Advanced Engineer
Job Objective:
To be responsible to deliver Network rollout and implementation engineering activities, has a leading role in engineering issues, coordinate and support regarding technical engineering issues and solutions within a network deployment organization. Also to be responsible for setting processes, standards, methods and tools within service Site Engineering, has the interface responsibility towards Customer and Product Development Unit (PDU) in engineering issues.
Responsibilities:
• Gathering needed information for engineering
• Fill in site requirements in Site Investigation Report (SIR).
• Perform site investigations in field and record data in SIR.
• Provide hardware dimensioning for Switch, Radio or Power equipment based upon customer requirements.
• Check Equipment Specification. Any detected wrong or missing material must be reported to Order Planning.
• Create Site Installation Documentation (SID).
• Create allocation data for relevant sites.
• Update SID into As-Built SID after finalized installation
• Assure the site engineering work in accordance with Site Engineering delivery process and with respect to customer’s directives.
• Responsible for engineering standards, methods and tools.
• Quality assurance of Site Engineering services and act on performance issues.
• Responsible for fulfillment of local laws, standards and regulations is met within the engineering field.
• Drive cost efficient solutions design.
• Responsible for the interface with Customer and PDU in engineering issues.
• Identify add on sales opportunities related to ongoing
• Responsible for the project quality and network safety.
• Handle customer request properly.
• Play as team leader when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Master/Bachelor in wireless communication will be preferable
• Skilled communicator: besides fluent in Chinese, good command of English is a must (spoken + written)
• Experience in IP, Telecom is an advantage
