IBM CDL Industry Solutions Development Internship

Working Location: Beijing, Software Park
Summary:

Background:
As a cornerstone to the CDL Industry Solutions Lab, the Industry Solutions Development team contributes to both the CDL Industry Solutions and WW Industry Frameworks development, and makes them well aligned. On the one hand, introducing the WW industry solutions, frameworks, best practice and references to the local market, helping China customers success with the WW advanced technologies; on the other hand, by creating and landing the industry solutions in China, we discover and understand the requirements specific to China customers, further more, extract and develop new features from them, and bring them back to enrich the IBM industry solutions and products.

Responsibilities:
Development of industry solutions.
The development work may span multi-brand of IBM products and be associated with industries.
The development work may include investigating new technologies, requirement analysis, high/low level design, coding, unit test, troubleshooting, documentation, etc.

Required Skills:
Proficient in Java/J2EE development.
Knowledge of J2EE architecture (EJB, JMS, JSF), Web Services, XML, Web 2.0 and database.
Skilled with IDE development tools such as Eclipse, RAD, WID, and RSA.
Knowledge of IBM Software portfolio (WebSphere, IM, Lotus, Tivoli, Rational) is a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills, capability of reading and writing documents in English.
Teamwork, self motivator and quick learner.

Qualifications:
Graduating students, major in Computer Science or equivalent
