We are seeking a qualified intern for our Insights and Marketing Research Department, to work in our China Sales and Marketing Headquarters in Beijing, China. This position involves primary and secondary market research projects, involving brand development research, tracking programs to understand market developments, as well as the development of detailed country overviews.
The primary activities of this Internship will include:

- Modelling – market modelling and econometrics
- The analysis and presentation of secondary data
- Updating existing databases
- Preparing presentations to share the results with other functions within Intel
The secondary activities of this Internship will include:
- Working with 3rd party suppliers to manage the fieldwork, data purchasing process and other key project logistics
- Assisting Intel Marketing Research Team members in the design and setup of primary research projects
A successful candidate will have a superior background in statistical analyses and a basic understanding of the principles of marketing. Experience in the IT industry as well as previous work experience – ideally in the marketing research field – will be a plus.
Skills
The right candidate for this internship will be comfortable working in a self-directed environment. He/she will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; demonstrate strong analytical ability and a good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with data analysis software such as SPSS is required.
