Group Overview
Research activities at Internet Graphics Group focus on cutting edge graphics technologies, ranging from graphics algorithms and systems, graphical interactive techniques, and motion picture and video game technologies. Our mission is to conduct world-leading graphics research that can impact both the academia and the industry, by leveraging our extensive research expertise on rendering, modeling, and animation. We also develop techniques that support Microsoft graphics and game platforms such as DirectX and XDK, and work closely with Microsoft Game Studios on next generation game engines.
Roles & Responsibility
Interns will work in an area of face tracking, expression recognition and Face modeling, etc.
Required Qualifications
1. Solid coding & programming skill and experience.
2. Familiar with C++ and numerical optimization arithmetic.
3. Experience in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition.
4. Experience in face tracking and Face modeling will be a plus.
5. A time commitment of at least 20 hours one week, 3 months. Full-time internship is preferred.

Project Introduction
Mobile Augmented Reality by Rich sensors
The Mobile Augmented Reality Applications project explores utilizing rich sensor (GPS, Camera, etc.) equipped mobile devices as platforms for sensor-based, video see-through mobile augmented reality. The project also investigates new and exciting cloud based applications enabled by this technology, and UI solutions and paradigms motivated by the next generation mobile devices.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Explore innovative technical solutions
2. Construct data structure and algorithms
3. Write quality code for prototypes, and demos
Required Qualification
1. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineer or any related technical field and possess the following skills;
2. Have background and experience on UI implement, computer vision project or pattern recognition related project
3. Good programming skills of C/C++/C#;
4. Good reading and written English;

The Innovation Engineering Group is a new incubation group based in Microsoft Research Asia. Here teams are small, the environment is unstructured, and the work is fast-paced. One of our projects is an online marketplace that will be hosted in and targeted for the U.S. The project will be publicly available, and leverages technologies such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, ASP.NET, and C#.
Roles & Responsibilities：
We are recruiting interns to work on an innovative and challenging engineering project.
Basic requirements:
1. Highly-motivated, with proven coding and debugging abilities;
