Job description:
The intern is expected to be part of the IBM Cloud Computing team to build a pro
of of concept to link two current technology areas: Internet of things (IOT) and
Cloud computing. The candidate needs to be familiar with these two concept and
build a demo application which could: gather data from things in physical world
-> send the data into the cloud -> process data in the cloud -> generate intelli
gence. The candidate could leverage existing products and solutions when buildin
g application.

Skill requirement:
-Proven skills with creating new technology assets
-Strong hands on capability. Be familiar with Java or C/C++/C#
-Understand the concept of cloud computing and IOT (Internet of things)
-Experienced with at least one application of IOT, like video monitoring, locati
on tracking, sensor network, RFID tracking, etc
-Experience with data analysis programming, like statistics, data mining, trend
prediction, pattern cognition
-Strong UI programming skill is preferred
-Good communication in both Chinese and English
-Graduate student is preferred
