Bridge Quality Engineering Intern needed for testing some black box features and some automation scripting in Bridge CS5. The candidate will be responsible for some black box testing and fewer scripting.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Develop, implement and update QE test cases and test files under the instruction of a mentor
• Perform black box testing and reporting/root-causing bugs
• Help to analysis and reproduce end user's bug, and bug triage/providing work around
• Use internal bug tracking and test case management system
• Implement automation test scripts for features
• Collaborate with Engineering, QE teams at US/Beijing
Knowledge & Skills Required:
• Basic knowledge of software quality engineering lifecycle and concepts
• Demonstrated knowledge of more than one core operating system
• Demonstrated knowledge about File system and GPU
• Demonstrated Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming with at least one language: Java/C++/Perl/JavaScript/PHP/Python
• Demonstrated ability to create, debug or update test scripts
• Proven Experience with creating test plans, test strategy
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, isolate issues
• Self starter, quick learner and good self-motivation
• Flexibility to move between tasks
Desired and Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
• Experienced in desktop product testing or QA experience in a cross-nation company is a big plus
• Good English communication skill both in spoken and written
