DESCRIPTION
The Parts Sales & Marketing group is responsible for growing the parts
business in China. You will be responsible for supporting the development
and execution of the China Parts marketing plan.
Besides delivering high impact work, the Parts Sales & Marketing group
serves as a magnet to attract smart, team oriented talent that can navigate
a dynamic market environment.
As an intern, you will be expected to leverage your superior analytical
skills to deliver data-driven, insightful recommendations against Cummins'
highest priority opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze competitive threats, industry trends, expansion opportunities and
internal performance.
Set-up and perform primary research.
Test out hypothesis through analytical rigor, collaborating across the
company to ensure inclusion and data integrity.
Work collaboratively across organizations to help secure the commitment for
cross-company efforts.
PROFILE
Strong problem solver that delights in tackling challenges and synthesizing
data into executable action items.
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with people from diverse
backgrounds along with strong presentation skills.
Self confidence without arrogance, team player that supports others, leads
executives and peers through logical reasoning and relationship development.
History of academic, professional and community related success.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Previous internship experience in a strategy consulting firm or marketing
company.
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent English proficiency. Fluency in both English and Chinese is a
must.
Minimum 6-months commitment.
Candidate should ideally be pursuing a Masters degree.
