1. Web Developer/ Prototyper Intern

veloper/ Prototyper intern with strong developing skills to work on a divers
e portfolio of Yahoo! projects. We seek a candidate who has strong personal
motivation and the ability to get up to speed quickly on new web technologie
s, think creatively towards innovative user experiences, and rapidly turn id
eas into concrete software prototypes.
Responsibilities:
I. Create UI prototypes based on interaction design, including UI wireframes
, UI diagrams, and so on.
II. Make prototypes or mockups that are used in the user studies and usabili
ty tests.
Requirements:
I. Bachelors/master in computer science or related technical major, or equiv
alent experience
II. Rich experience in web applications, HTML, Javascript, CSS
III. Familiar with Flash, WPF, etc.
IV. Skilled in one or more general purpose languages such as PHP, C#, Java a
nd C++
V. Prior experience in Mobile App development
VI. Self-directed learning, ability to learn new technologies quickly.
VII. Excellent team work
VIII. Good English skills (comprehension, verbal and written)

2. Designer Intern

ction designer intern with good interaction and visual design skills to work
on next-generation product prototypes for Yahoo!. We seek a candidate who h
as strong personal motivation and the ability to produce pixel-accurate mock
ups in Photoshop, intuitive user interface interaction flows, think creative
ly towards innovative user experiences, and rapidly turn ideas into prototyp
e.
Responsibilities:
I. Create user interface wireframes based on requirement.
II. Participate in concept development and design ideation
III. Create visual designs and Produce design specifications, storyboards, s
cenarios, design prototypes
IV. Work with web developers and engineers to deliver the final product
Requirements:
I. Bachelor/master in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design,
Architecture or related area, or equivalent experience
II. Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator or other design tools
III. Proven record of creating world-class icons and graphic design
IV. Excellent team work
V. Good English skills (comprehension, verbal and written)
Bonuses:
I. Experience with all major design, multimedia, and operating system softwa
re: Flash, Imageready, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
II. Will be nice to have experience on using Maya, 3DMax, Director
III. Full-time preferred
