Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Preparing translation projects
Testing the build environment and setting up all the software required to compile the localized product during project preparation phase
Locating and identifing all the translatable files
File parsing and analysis
Building and compiling localization builds
Software/Help testing and bug fixing
Management of translation memory, glossary, including leveraging and word-count management
Providing technical assistance for other team members, departments
Performing QA check on deliveries

Good communication in both English and Chinese
Knowledge of HTML, XML, PHP/ASP
Advanced scripting skills (Perl, Python)
Basic programming skills (C/C++/C#, Java, Delphi, Visual Basic)
Knowledge of regular expression
Familiar with localization tools - RC-Wintrans, SDL Trados, Catalyst, etc.)

Candidates must be extremely organized, executing work according to strict processes and guidelines. They must work well within a team environment and adhere to the assigned schedule.
