Assignment Title: Wind Turbine Modeling and Sensing Intern
Function: Engineering/Technology
Function Segment: Real-Time Controls and Instrumentation Lab
Working Frequency:at least 3 days
Essential Responsibility:
Build mechanical model/formulas for wind turbine and research methods to calculate the bending/twisting moment and other parameters of wind turbine based on the mechanical model.
Implement the mechanical model and calculating method in C code format or Matlab.
Document the works into technical report.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ph.D or Master degree with major in Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Having strong knowledge in mechanics analysis in condition of material distortion.
Experienced in ADAMs or other FEM software; Familiar with Matlab or C would be a plus.
Having strong knowledge in mechanical design, experiences in wind turbine would be a plus.
