1、S40 SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (INTERN)
Position Description
We are looking for person to work in our S40 software development team as a s
oftware engineer. Selected persons will have responsibilities in one or more
of the following areas: mobile web browser, messaging, touch features, operat
or feature, Chinese input, and software quality assurance. Major programming
languages are C (and C++). Expected work also includes also brainstorming new
possible features in the above areas. Selected persons should have strong se
nse of user experence and be a good team player.
Key Tasks
Software prototyping and innovation; Assisting in software development, such
as conducting unit tests and error correction; Code merging;
Tool piloting.
Qualifications
Extensive programming skills and experiences in C/C++; Good knowledge of embe
ded software development; Good understanding of unit testing and continuous i
ntegration; Good communication skill; Good English skills in reading/written;
Relevant experience to the specified areas is a plus; Knowledge/skills in ot
her mobile flatforms such as POSIX, Qt, Maemo, Symbian, Windows Mobile, iPhon
e, and/or Android is a plus; Knowledge/experience in Webkit layout engine is
a big plus to the web browser area;
Scripting skills in Perl and/or Python and testing skills are required by the
software quality assurance area.
2、SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER (INTERN)
Position Description
We are looking for person to work in Nokia S40 software test team as a softwa
re testing engineer. Selected persons will have responsibilities of software
testing in the areas of mobile browser, touch input, messaging, and operator-
specific requirements, need to write test plan, design test case, and excute
them to find out any error in specific sw. Candidats should have strong sense
of testing experence and be a good team player. Software development backgro
und is highly appreciated.

Tool development on integration and releasing
Error management
Qualifications
Experience/skills in working on Linux; Experience/skills in Perl, Visual Basi
c, databases, Excel macros. Experience/skills in Lotus Notes;
Experience/skills in Web page creation.
3、S40 UX DESIGNER (Intern)
Position Description
We are looking for a talented User Experience/Interaction designer with techn
ical writing, usability as well as user experience/interaction design skills
to join our SW development team, and work along with software development tea
m to design and document UI features.
Your key responsibilities are:
Assisting in UI specs correction, bring fresh idea to UI design (different ag
e group)
Qualifications
Extensive UI work (portfolio, …) especially in comsumer electronics or mobil
e apps (vs. web design).
Excellent communbication skill in English is a plus.
