Intern – Intel Capital

Hours per week: 30 - 40 hours


Job description:

Intel Capital, Intel’s global investment organization, makes equity investments at all stages in innovative technology start-ups and companies worldwide. Intel Capital is a stage agnostic investor in a broad range of companies offering hardware, software and services targeting enterprise, home, mobility, health, consumer Internet, semiconductor manufacturing, and cleantech.


Interns at Intel Capital China will support the deal making team focused on driving investments in innovative technology companies in China.  Interns will be expected to work with senior investment professionals to assist on deal screening, market research, and due diligence activities as necessary.  Responsibilities would include, but not limited to:


1.     Primary research on markets

2.     Cold calling companies to arrange meetings

3.     Internet and database research on market information

4.     Financial modeling and analysis

5.     Data collection and analysis

6.     Ad hoc projects to help with due diligence


Qualifications

1.     Strong financial analytical ability

2.     Demonstrated exceptional judgment

3.     Demonstrated interest in technology and engineering

4.     Familiarity with the technology market in China – understanding of value chains and major companies in the ecosystem

5.     Good English writing abilities to document work results

6.     Ability to work under pressure


This will be a minimum 12 month internship rotation.
