Part-time Legal Intern at Steptoe & Johnson LLP

The Beijing Office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP is currently seeking to hire a long-term part-time legal intern among the LLM students of Tsinghua University Law School to work closely with several US and China qualified legal professionals. The intern's main responsibilities include legal research and translation. He or she is expected to work approximately 20 hours a week but occasionally may work more hours if workload requires. The preferred candidates should have strong academic records with a focus on either civil and business laws, economics laws or international economics laws (outstanding candidates with other academic focus can also be considered). The candidates should also have excellent research and writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both Chinese and English. Prior internship experience with PRC law firms is a plus.
