Job Title:
GPON EMS/NBI Software I&V Engineer Intern in Ericsson China R&D

Job Description:
As one of GPON EMS/NBI I&V team intern, you will learn how to verify GPON
EMS/NBI products to meet the customer's requirements as well as fulfill the
business requirements on cost, time and quality.  
Job Responsibility:
• Review and provide feedback for product requirements and customer
documentation.
• Work with Systems Engineering, Development, and other testers to
understand system requirements and behavior.
• Develop test plans, test cases and review them with other groups
• Ability to execute test cases manually and to automate them using
automation tools if possible.
• Analyze, isolate, and report SW bugs and work closely with Development to
fix problems and verify solutions.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of the features and behavior of
Ericsson's Network Element

Qualifications & Requirements
• Master in Communication Engineering, Computer Science or EE, Students to
be graduated in 2013 is preferred;
• At least 4 days/week working is needed; Long-term(> 6 months) is
preferred;
• Working knowledge of Solaris, ORACLE and Windows platforms is preferred.
• Working knowledge of the following technologies: Ethernet, L2/L3, ATM,
VLAN forwarding Stacking, MAC bridging, DHCP/PPPoE Learning, IGMP, and IPTV,
and VoIP is required.
• Working knowledge of  shell, Perl, Tcl/Expect script writing is a plus
• Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in teams
• Open and good at communication, Good team player and able to work in high
pressure  
• Proactive and very strong "Can do" attitude
• Fluent in oral written English
