Student for Cloud Storage Researcher Assistant
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on key technology research and system performance optimization
of Cloud Data Management platform as a research assistant
      Investigate on key technologies of Cloud Data Management area
in both academia and industry
      Evaluate open source implementation of cloud storage
solutions and implement optimization
      Work on prototype development of a Cloud Storage platform in
telecom domain
REQUIREMENTS:
      M.S./PhD degree in computer science or telecommunication
engineering
      Sound knowledge in cloud data management areas e.g. cloud
storage, distributed/parallel data processing, metadata management,
object storage etc.
      Project experience in open source software e.g. Hadoop,
HBase, Cassandra is preferred
      Project experience in performance optimization of distributed
database is preferred
      Familiar with Linux OS and excellent programming skill at
C/C++/Java
      Good English reading and writing skills.
      Self initiated, fast learning, responsible person  
      Good communication skills
