Job Title:
Broadband EMS Software Design Engineer
Job Objective:
To be responsible to develop broadband EMS product to meet customer’s requirements as well as fulfill the business requirements on cost, time and quality.
Responsibilities:
• Independently design and develop high quality software for broadband access network management system
• Software related documents writing and reviewing
• Participate in technical reviews for own or others work
• Unit, component test and integration test, make test plan
• Interface with other teams/units for any technical issues
• Be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and be flexible
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Master in Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering
• Software development experience using Java/C++ programming language in object oriented programming; script programming; demonstrated software debugging skills
• Familiar with Unix development environment and experience with software development tools
• Desire experience with CORBA, SNMP, TL1 based network management models
• Experience in database software development, Oracle database development experience is preferred
• Good team player and able to work in an extremely fast pace and high pressure environment
• Open and good at communication
• Fluent in oral and written English
