Position: Software Engineer

Project Description:
Industry Solutions Development Organization in China Development Lab is missioned to develop industry solution products targeting for Line of Business customers. As one of the strategy growth initiatives, Chemical & Petroleum Integrated Information Core has been developed as IBM product. It is a semantic-model-based software platform designed to help customers improve integrated operations through simpler and more timely access to information.
In this organization, you will be exposed to industry-leading solutions, new technologies, and exceptional engineers. You will have chance to work with different world wide industry solution development and test teams, pave the way to resolve the new challenges for standard and effective practices to deliver industry solution products.
We're looking for 1 intern who will be responsible for the development work to enable and accelerate the Integrated Information Core delivery.

Responsibilities:
·Survey in related technical fields and conclude for decisions
·Work for problem identification and resolution
·Develop the product (IIC) and fix product defects
·Unit test for owned components
·Compose technical documents

Required:
·Proficient with Java programming and J2EE technology
·J2EE related project experience
·Knowledge of SOA reference architecture and methodology
·Fluent communication skills, both Mandarin and English
·Self motivator and quick learner
·Good team player
·Degree: MS graduate, major in CS or equivalent
·Duration: 3 days per week and 3 months at least

Preferred:
·Experienced with IBM Software, especially WAS, DB2 and Eclipse-based IDE
·Knowledge of Agile development process, experienced with RTC
