Vacancy: 1 (at least 6 months)

Context:
Work in a newly established research center in a well-known multinational company with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally. Closely collaborate with other Thomson world-wide research center.

In the context of advanced networking technologies research and development, the job holder explore, design and develop new network protocol and architecture for delivery of content and media services both inside the home over home network and consumer devices and outside the home via multiple devices.

Job description:        

-       Conduct research and development on personalized media ubiquity service delivery inside home network via multiple devices
-       Specify and design software modules for embedded system such as home gateway, STB and Tablet
-       Implement, integrate and test new software modules running on mobile terminal, PC or embedded devices
-       Closely work with other research centers and business units of Thomson worldwide
-       Set up and conduct demonstrations
-       Contribute to the Thomson patent portfolio by protecting inventions.

Required profile:      

General
- Experience of team working
- Good English language capability
- Good communication capability
- Good self-sufficiency
- High degree of initiative and responsibility

Specific
- BS / MS. in EE, CS or equivalent
- Proven strong skills in software development (C/C++) on Linux.
- Good knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, WiFi, UPnP)
- Knowledge of Android is a plus
- Experience on embedded system is appreciated
