Job Description

Linux Performance & Compiler Engineer (intern) plays a role in a multi-discipline team working on new products and industry-wide innovations. You'll be a part of an exciting team that creates the world wide benchmarks based on HP hardware. In this position, you will be highly involved in HPUX kernel, compiler and performance tuning work.

Responsibility

. Perform performance validation on cutting edge server platforms on Linux/HP-UX
. Analyze and Tune SPECcpu2006 benchmark result on Linux/HP-UX
. Engage in the enablement of the next generation of SPECcpu on Linux/HP-UX
. Track the compiler optimization technology on x86_64/ia64 from various vendors

Job Requirement

. Familiar with Linux/UNIX Systems as working environment
. Deep knowledge on C/C++ programming language
. Deep knowledge on Compiler optimization technology
. Knowledge on server architecture (x86_64, ia64) architecture
. Knowledge on TPC/SPEC is a PLUS
. Fluent in reading, written and verbal English

Qualification

. 2011/2012 Graduate for Master/PhD, majoring on compiler related technology.
. Minimum 3 days on job per week.
