Software Engineer (or Software Engineer Intern) -- Android (China)
As a Software Engineer (or Software Engineer Intern)， you will build features of Android application that are matched with social networking features on major US social networking site. The Android application will be available to millions of people just days after you release it to iTunes. Our development cycle is rapid, iterative, and driven by metrics and analytics. We use PHP, Java, and Oracle for server-side development, and make heavy use of JSON/AJAX/DHTML on the web client.
Current projects include design and implementation of social networking features on Android phones; major feature additions, focused product improvements, enhanced user experiences. We also routinely refactor the core application to improve performance, efficiency, and code maintainability.

Minimum Qualifications - must have:
Strong programming skills in Java
Advanced knowledge of PHP and database
Experience with multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programming
Hands-on experiences with diagnosis tools of web application and Android application
Enthusiasm for startup work
Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
at least 1 year of professional software development experience
Basic English Skills
BS or MS in Computer Science
Additional Qualifications - nice to have:
Knowledge of numerous programming languages
Expert knowledge of C/C++ or other device-oriented technologies
Contributions to open source software projects
Experience creating highly scalable systems, including clustered and/or distributed applications
Background in physical sciences, mathematics, or statistics
The ideal candidate is willing to relocate and work in Beijing China.
