微软亚洲研究院“明日之星”实习生项目
Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.
微软亚洲研究院是微软公司在美国本土之外最大的基础科研机构，被美国著名技术杂志MIT 《Technology Review》誉为“世界上最火的计算机实验室”。 自1998年成立以来，启动了面向亚太区高校博士生、硕士生和优秀本科生的“明日之星”实习生项目。该项目由微软亚洲研究院和国内外高校共同执行，旨在培养高素质的计算机基础研究人才。实习生进入微软亚洲研究院后深入到每个研究小组进行为期三个月或更长时间的实习。截止至2010年10月，已有4300名来自亚太区高校的学生到微软亚洲研究院实习，平均每年有400个实习机会开放给所有的学生。

Position: Full-time Intern
Quantity: 2
Work Location: Beijing
工作内容：
利用机器学习和自然语言理解的知识，运用于电子病历的分析中，例如病名，药物和检测手段的提取 (Information Extraction)，判断他们的存在性 (negation) 或者判断他们之间的关系 (relation)。
招聘要求：
•电子工程，计算机专业，或相关技术专业的在读硕士或博士生
•有较强的机器学习和自然语言理解的知识背景
•有很好的数学功底（尤其是统计的知识）
•优秀的中英文写作技能，英语口语流利
•具有团队精神和较好的交流能力
•实习期至少六个月，并取得导师的书面同意书
Roles & Responsibilities
The interns will be working with Eric Chang, on applications of medical records using the techniques of machine learning and natural language processing.
Required Qualifications:
•MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science or any related technical field and possess the following skills
•Solid mathematics (especially statistics)
•Background in machine learning (clustering, learning, classification) and natural language processing
•Good programming skills or have related project experience;
•Good reading, written, and oral English
•Good communication skills and excellent teamwork
•Can commit at least 6 months internship, can get your advisor’s approval

利用计算机视觉和模式识别方法，开发一套结肠的组织切片图像的计算机辅助诊断分析软件

Roles & Responsibilities
The interns will be working with Eric Chang, on applications of automated quantitative analysis with computed assisted diagnosis based colon histopathological images using computer vision and pattern recognition.
Required Qualifications:
•MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science or any related technical field and possess the following skills
•Strong in signal and image processing
•Solid mathematics (linear algebra, optimization, statistics)
•Background in machine learning (clustering, learning, classification)
•Good programming skills or have related project experience;
•Good reading, written, and oral English
•Good communication skills and excellent teamwork
•Can commit at least 6 months internship, can get your advisor’s approval
