System I&V Engineer (Intern)
Responsibilities & Main Tasks:
1;Setup verification environment for both hardware and software to meet the requirement of verification
2;Integrate hardware and software of different nodes to implement mobile radio network and core network.
3;Develop test environment for the system level testing, including test scripts development, automation test environment development etc.
4;Design and perform integration tests, debug node and system issues, verify compliance of interfaces and features.
5; Solve problems with support from experienced engineer by coordinating the tests with H/W, S/W together with engineers and system design.
Required Skills:
1;University student for Master/Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required with Good GPA score
2;Knowledge of mobile radio and core network architecture.
3;Knowledge of mobile system technology and protocols in one or more of the following areas is preferred: GSM, WCDMA, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA.
4;Knowledge and experience of SW development, C, Perl, Tcl language are preferred
5;Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred: ATM, TCP/IP, channel coding.
6;Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
Other Requirement:
Work full time or at least 4 days per week.
Be able to work as a long term intern at lease 5 months.
Get the supervisor’s agreement or approval on the intern work outside University.
SW design engineer (Intern)
Objective:
Design and maintenance for automation test system, which is used by Ericsson GSM Network.
Responsibility:
1; Design the new function of automation test system
2; Develop the function and script for test system.
3; Responsible for writing technical documents, e.g. implementation proposal, low level design, etc.
4; Responsible for coding, test and delivery of new features.
Qualifications
1; BS in Computer Science or Telecom required, MS preferred.
2; Experienced in C++, C, Perl, Tcl
3; Good trouble shooting skills.
4; Familiar with mobile system technology and protocols in one or more of the following areas is preferred: GSM, WCDMA, CDMA2000, TD-SCDMA.
5; Experience with the following equipment is preferred: Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Nethawk, TEMS or similar
