Responsibilities:
Designs, develops and implements automation tests on different device and back-end systems.
Performs test execution, analysis and report compilation, maintenance of test environment and libraries.
Work closely with other Sybase engineering unit including development and QA to track quality issues, facilitates issue identification and resolution, maintain a mutual understanding of the deliverables for each assigned project or task.

Requiremenets:
- Experience in software development in commercial  projects or academic lab
- Strong programming skills in one or more of the following combinations: C/C++, Java and SQL
- Familiarity with one of the following relational database systems: Sybase, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Familarity with Unix Operating Systems
- Background or knowledge in COM, .NET Framework and distributed systems is highly desirable.
- Familarity with server side technique and B/S application development. Knowledge of J2EE, XML/XSL/DOM
- Fluent in English communication (CET-6 a must)
- Experience with automation test will be preferred.
- Desire to pursue a long-term career path as a software developer in QA
- High attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Job Description:
Technical: Uses established software engineering concepts, principles and processes to achieve committed results. Implements, executes and evaluates unit tests for product components. Performs simple functional test development from test specifications. Performs test maintenance for assigned features. Performs test execution, analysis and reporting for assigned features. Maintains defect tracking for assigned features. Works to assigned schedules and communicates issues that impede progress. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintains test environments.
