1) Internship Title:
Strategy & Business Development for Infineon's Industrial & Multimarket
Business Division (IFX IMM BID)

2) Job description:
The Business Intelligence & Development (BID) Department drives the strategy
and the business development of our Industrial and Multimarket (IMM)
division in a challenging and fast moving business environment. The team
primarily advises and supports the Division CEO, as well as the Board and
Top Executives in projects and questions of daily business.

As an intern you will work closely together with industry and strategy
experts on analyzing the market and competitors, modeling (in Excel)
business cases, developing recommendations and preparing presentations. You
will be closely coached, supported and supervised by an experienced member
of the team.

This internship offers a great strategy consulting learning experience,
close senior management interaction and lots of insights on how business is
developed. It is a perfect starting point for a management consulting
career. However, this internship is also very challenging and only suitable
for highly motivated and very committed students.

3) Time and duration
Starting: July or early August 2011, may depend on the visa approval process
Duration: >= 4 months

4) Location:
Munich, Germany (The company's headquarter)

5) Requirements:
- Background: Student in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics,
Physics or other subjects.
- Excellent grades
- Outstanding English language skills is a must (German is not required)
- Good knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
- Some understanding of economics would be helpful
- Previous international experience and/or internship experience preferred
- Commitment
This position is also suitable for people with no previous consulting /
economics experience but want to have a first taste of this industry or want
to join this industry at later point of time


VERY IMPORTANT (we have to be very strict on following points):

- Interships below 4 months will not be offered

6) Salary:
Monthly EUR1050.- (highly competitive even in Germany)
