Position:    Principal/Staff/Senior IC Researcher (High Performance Computing)

Location:    Beijing/Shanghai/Shenzhen



Job Description

As an IC Researcher, you are expected to explore the architecture and microarchitecture of high performance, energy efficient domain-oriented Processing Unit for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large-scale Computing and/or other related IC IP. Your responsibilities will be related, but not limited to

·      Micro-architecture RTL logic design, debug and proof of concept verification

·      Working closely with internal production team on knowledge transfer

·      Participating in academic and industrial Special Interest Group or Standard Organization for technology evolution

·      Patenting valuable inventions of specific technical subject of matter



Qualifications needed:

·      At least 3 years of ALU RTL design experience in the field of CPU/AI/DSP

·      Be familiar with the STA and Area optimization.

·      Hands-on experience in RTL design with Verilog and/or VHDL

·      Functionality, performance & physical implementation tradeoffs

·      Ability to generate consistent, complete, and concise specifications



Experience in following will be a plus

·      High-performance, low-latency execution, and power-efficient logic design for Multimedia (ISP or CODEC), Machine Learning or other AI technologies of AI Processing Unit, CPU micro-architecture design

·      RTL design for multi-threaded, low-power microprocessors;

·      A good understanding of SoC designs and system architecture.
