IP verification manager

Location: Beijing

The Manager of IP verification will lead a team working on south bridge IOs verification including USB3/USB4/SATA and legacy IOs. Establishes and maintains AMD high speed IO technological leadership position. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving many of the key technical aspects, including and perform the following duties:
o    Leads team for IP, sub-system and SOC  level verification to make sure functional correct and reusable for different product lines.
o    Working in close collaboration with the design/verification engineering teams and managers and directors on the various efforts involved in IP development and integration.
o    Is responsible for projects or processes of significant strategic or commercial importance and for project/program results.
o    Deals with problems requiring cutting edge approaches and champions innovation across the organization.
o    Provides consultative direction with senior management.
o    Makes technical decisions that have a significant impact on product families, go to market strategies and customer satisfaction.
o    Coaches and mentors experienced staff.
Requirements:
o    MS degree of EE or CS, with minimum 12 years’ experience.
o    IP/SOC verification project management experience of project team size 10 or above
o    Specialized knowledge of USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 or Thunderbolt in protocol and link layers is preferred. Specialized knowledge of PCIE or AMBA is a plus.
o    Expert of UVM and rich experience on large size digital IP verification.
o    Considered technical leader across project and departmental boundaries and has a proven track record for sustained innovation.
o    Fluent English on talking, presentation and writing documents.
o    Work is performed with limited supervision. Strong sense of task scheduling and deliver on time as predetermined milestones committed to manager.
o    Can solve complex, novel and non-recurring problems; initiates significant changes to existing processes/methods and leads development and implementation.
o    People managerial experience and the ability to effectively manage a verification team.
o    Communication skills, well organized, and detail oriented
o    Innovative thinking and goal-oriented execution.
