Abstract:
An INS (inertial navigation system) is indispensable for military and even civil applications due to its autonomous operation and other performance, but its errors are accumulated with time. Hence, other navigation systems, such as GNSS (global navigation satellite system), CNS (celestial navigation system), TAN (terrain aided navigation), etc., have been integrated with INS complementarily. In this presentation, I will introduce our progress in the related fields including the Kalman filter with the colored noise, the fast alignment with the large initial attitude errors, the deeply coupled CNS/INS, and the suitable matching criterion for a TAN algorithm.
