报告摘要  Abstract

This is a continuation of a minicourse I delivered at SJTU at the beginning of 2022. In the first part, we discussed a criterion for ergodicity formulated in terms of the controllability of the underlying deterministic system. I explained how the controllability conditions are checked in the case of some concrete PDEs and provided a proof for a finite-dimensional version of the criterion.


To begin, we will briefly overview the framework and background of the problem. Then we will discuss the proof of the criterion in the infinite-dimensional setting when the noise is non-degenerate. Finally, I will explain the key steps of the proof when the noise is highly degenerate.


This minicourse is based on joint works with Sergei Kuksin and Armen Shirikyan.
