报告摘要 Abstract
In late 70s, two very influential theories in geometry were initiated, namely the canonical (e.g. Kahler-Einstein) metric problem in complex geometry and the minimal model program in algebraic geometry. In the last decade, these two theories finally intersect, and produce striking results in both sides, such as a complete solution to Yau-Tian-Donaldson Conjecture, and the construction of moduli space for Fano varieties. In my talk, I will give a survey of this remarkable story.
