SUMMARY: To implement teaching an assigned AP subject according to the College Board course specifications, course audit policy, and other requirements;Take responsibilities within the AP International Class Community, facilitate student learning, develop and maintain a stimulating, caring learning environment, assess and evaluate student progress.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Teach up to 20 teaching periods per week to AP students according to the College Board course specifications; Provide the AP International Class Supervisor with outline of teaching plan, syllabus and schemes of work weekly for the academic year; Provide continuous communication to management and school; Adjust and differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of students; Maintain effective classroom management; Prepare and mark examinations per semester; Participate in examination supervision; Act as tutor to groups of students as assigned by the AP International Class Supervisor; Write monthly student reports; Participate in meetings with parents; Participate in the student recruitment and meet prospective students and parents; Responsible for advising the AP International Class Supervisor regarding specialized subject resources required for students to optimize learning experience; Assist students in their college application under the supervision of senior American college counselors; Support students' extracurricular activities, community and volunteer services, as agreed upon with the AP International Class Supervisor, and other duties assigned to enhance the learning experience of the students; Participate actively in professional development programs. Job locations: Our company will dispatch AP teachers to various cooperative key high schools in major cities such as Shenzhen. Qualifications: Undergraduate or Master’s degree in relative subjects preferred. Overseas study experiences preferred
