本人目前想申请PHD,这个是proposal的要求，

PHD Proposal的要求请看下边：
Check the research interests detailed on the relevant department's website to see if we can offer expert supervision in your chosen area of specialisation;
prepare a research proposal (1000 - 1500 words) to outline the research project you would like to undertake (does not apply to applicants for the Department of Computer Science and the Institute of Mathematics and Physics other than when applying for the Doctoral Career Development Scheme). In all cases please contact the relevant academic department for further advice.

关于方向，学校问我的时候我是根据你现有的master说可能是市场、旅游等，但是没有最后确认，所以你看看你对什么最感兴趣。当然不能离开之前学习的背景或经验夸区域太大了。我之前是读MBA的marketing方向
