SVB Financial Group Internships – Job Description  
SVB’s internships are designed for undergraduate/graduate students to gain exposure to SVB Financial Group; allowing students to gain real life experience with a financial services company that focuses on helping entrepreneurs and enterprising companies succeed by offering diversified and complementary financial services to technology and life science companies, and venture capital/private equity firms.  
As an intern of SVB Financial Group, you will be involved in a variety of projects pertaining to the venture capital/private equity and technology sectors of the China market. The various tasks may include performing market and competitive analysis, database maintenance, portfolio modeling and monitoring, and assisting in other special projects including presentation materials and SVB related events. This position offers the opportunity to apply both analytical and creative thinking skills to the venture capital and banking industry.  
  
Requirements:  
---Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university. Students majoring in economics, finance, accounting, computer science and engineering are preferred.  
---Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate (oral and written) in English.  
---Sophisticated skills in data search, analysis and modeling.  
---Demonstrate strong organizational skills and be detail oriented, work well within a team environment and have a positive attitude.  
---Strong interest in venture capital, technology and entrepreneurship. Previous experience with venture capital firms or technology companies is preferred.  
---Candidates must be open to working on a variety of projects and tasks.  
---Candidates must be committed to work for three consecutive months (at least three working days per week).  
---The location for this internship is Beijing.
