UI & Mobile Developer

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS (COMPANY FIT/JOB FIT)

-       Build UI framework in JavaScript to support mobile-first business
software applications utilizing RESTful JSON APIs

-       Translate designs and UX style guides into functional UIs, ensuring
cross browser compatibility and performance

-       Maintain and continuously extend existing mobile web apps and sample
toolkit apps based on the UI framework

-       Communicate continually with the internal stakeholders and project
teams about the progress or potential risks

-       Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting
optimization/best-practices of UI framework programming

-       Be aware of new and emerging front-end technologies with good sense
of emerging hybrid mobile HTML5 apps



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE)

Key Requirement:

-       Extensive experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries,
particularly jQuery and UI data binding libraries

-       Fluency with modern HTML5 and CSS3 development for responsive and
highly dynamic layout implementation

-       Expertise with at least one of the Android and/or iOSmobile native
app development as well as mobile hybrid app development using PhoneGap
and/or web views for HTML5 and JavaScript with real world experiences

-       Expertise with one of modern JavaScript MV* frameworks such as
Backbone.js, Angular.js and Knockout.js, etc.

-       Expertise with one of modern dynamic CSS languages with real world
experiences using LESS and/or SASS, etc.

-       Expertise with at least one of RESTful/oData-based HTTP server-side
programing such as Java/.Net/Node.js

-       Obsessive about quality, including code quality with static code
checks along with unit tests and UI automation



Language Skill:

-       Fluent English (written & oral) and proactive communication skills.

-       ERP software experience.

-       Development experience on commercial software projects.
