AJAX star Dusan Tadic put his body on the line to score the equaliser against Borussia Dortmund - and may have temporarily regretted it.

The former Southampton ace slid in at the back post to to make it 1-1 on 72 minutes away in Germany in their Champions League clash.

But it came at some cost - with the Serbian crashing his private parts straight into the woodwork.

Tadic was left holding his genitals after the collision as his joy at scoring a goal was somewhat soured.

Unsurprisingly the painful moment drew a fair bit of attention on social media.

Sacha Pisani wrote on Twitter: "Dusan Tadic literally put his balls on the line for Ajax’s equaliser."

Another footie fan posted that it was a 'ballsy move', while another wrote that the 32-year-old had 'Serbian balls of steel'.
