Bayern Munich and Germany legend Franz Beckenbauer has passed away at the age of 78, his family has confirmed.

Beckenbauer also known as "Der Kaiser" is one of nine players to have won the FIFA World Cup, the European Champions Cup, and the Ballon d'Or.
