Zanetti carjacked in Argentina

Inter legend Javier Zanetti was reportedly carjacked in Argentina at gunpoint last night.

The 40-year-old, who retired from playing this summer to join the club staff, was on vacation in the Banfield area.

Diario Popular claims Zanetti was driving with his father in a 4x4 when they were accosted by men who pointed a gun to his head.

Made to leave the vehicle, Zanetti and his father were unhurt, but it’s reported the carjackers were tracked down and arrested soon after.
