Kondogbia: ‘One game at a time’
By Football Italia staff
Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia isn’t giving up on the Champions League - “we have to take it game-by-game.”
The Nerazzurri were leading Serie A on January 1, but are now in fifth-place, 18 points behind leaders Juventus and eight points adrift of third.
“We could do more, I understand that,” Kondogbia told Premium Sport.
“Now we have to be more demanding and give our best. We have to take it game-by-game, starting with the game against Frosinone.
“We just need to win and we’ll see where we are at the end.”
Kondogbia is friends with Juventus’ Paul Pogba, but wasn’t willing to discuss his compatriot’s Scudetto chances.
“They haven’t won mathematically yet, you never know. We’ll do our best in the remaining games.”
Finally, the Frenchman was asked about his chances of going to Euro 2016 this summer.
“It’s my objective, but I have to give more in every game so that I deserve it by doing well with Inter.”
