Ramires: No comment on Inter, but...
By Football Italia staff
Jiangsu Suning midfielder Ramires insists Inter “don’t need to be commented on” but assures “I’d surely give my opinion” on them if they came calling.
Links between Ramires and Inter intensified after the latter’s Suning takeover back in June and his admission that he would “love” to play in Italy, but the Brazilian made it clear a move to the Nerazzurri was never on the agenda.
“Many [people] have asked me about Inter, but no Jiangsu directors have ever told me about this opportunity,” he told Goal.com.
“[I wasn’t] even told during the ceremony with Inter and Suning directors, in which [Inter’s] change of ownership was made official.
“I attended [the ceremony] with Alex Teixeira and Jo I met them and met [the directors] but we never talked about this possibility.
“Inter are a historical club who don’t need to be commented on, but if the opportunity really does arise then I’d surely give my opinion.”
