Intern for metrics analysis/updating/improvement

Job Description：
To support our location in Beijing, China, we are looking for a motivated part-time program assistant to support data analysis for the Transportation team. This role is ideally suited to someone currently studying and looking for some operational and analytical experience with an exciting, dynamic company.

Job requirements：
*Support Amazon employees with the development of operational metrics, the organization of data for review, and the detailed analysis of various operational trends recording the quality of customer-related processes. Detailed instructions will be given as appropriate.
*A wide range of data collection and varied administrative tasks.
*Be able to work at least 3 days a week, though working 5 days a week is strongly preferred.

Basic Qualifications：
*Knowledge of relational database, such as MS SQL, Oracle DB or MySQL, and be able to run SQL query on top of those DB
*Knowledge and experience of statistical methods and data analysis
*Chinese and English written communication skills
*Good attention to details
*Strong analytical skills including proficiency in Excel
*PC/Office competent
*Studying/having studied an analytical subject (economics, finance, mathematics, sciences)
*Self-starter and extremely organized

Preferred Qualifications：
*VBA programming, scripting language such as Perl, Python
*Previous work experience, especially handling data recording and business analysis
*University student in 2nd or 3rd year
*Interest in e-commerce and retail business issues
*Willingness to learn and improve the overall customer experience
