Job Description
Responsibilities:
Work with the core R&D engineers to develop and test the database core. Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
·        Work closely with R&D engineers during the product development from design phase. Be responsible for designing, developing and executing tests
·        Be responsible for tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance and serviceability standards.
·        Analyzes test results and work with engineers to resolve the potential bugs
·        Design and develop test framework/tools and unit/API test of the database core on distributed system
·        Plan the system test and make plan, code, execute system/component test against the production, a distributed system
·        Work closing with cross-function team and cross-geography team among daily work
Critical Hiring Criteria

Must Haves:
·        3+ years experience developing/testing enterprise level software products.
·        Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
·        Strong passion and proactive
·        Strong knowledge of Database/Linux kernel
·        Strong coding skill in C/C++/Java in Linux
·        Excellent communication skills required
·        A good understanding of QA process and software development life cycle

Preferred:
·        Experience working with geographically separate teams
·        Strong trouble shooting and debugging skills to assist in root cause analysis
·        Experience with bugs filing systems and source control systems
