FMP Summary:
General Electric's global financial management program started 89 years ago. 2009 marks the 15th anniversary of the Program's presence in China. FMP is widely recognized to be the premier program of its kind. FMP develops leadership and analytical skills through world-class course training and key assignments with all business units within GE. It is the ground stone of a long successful GE career.
FMP is an intensive two-year entry-level program spanning four rotational assignments. These assignments may include: financial planning, accounting, operations analysis, auditing, forecasting, treasury/cash management, or commercial finance. The program combines coursework, intensive job assignments and interactive seminars to equip you with exceptional technical, financial and business skills. The program is led by senior GE professionals and mentors and is committed to developing world-class financial leaders for exciting careers.

FMP Summer Internship Program Summary:
The FMP summer internship program is designed to give its members the opportunity to experience GE's finance function, operating rhythm and culture. The program also serves as a key talent source for the official FMP. The internship combines technical training, intensive job assignments and interactive appraisal system. Hands-on experience may include: financial planning & analysis, accounting, auditing, commercial finance and ect.
Length of Time
· Full time during summer break.
· Can be extended after fall semester begins.
· Depending on availability.
Qualifications
· Bachelor or Master Degree to be expected before Jul. 2011
· Excellent Academic Record (please include GPA, ranking or relevant information)
· Demonstrated Leadership Experience
· Analytical Ability
· Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
· Flexible/Adaptable/Mobile
· Relevant Academic and/or Work Experience Preferred
