Computational Fluid Dynamics: CFD Application Engineer
Job Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge of contemporary CFD techniques and familiarity with the process of CFD analysis and its design applications.
- Solid back ground in fluid dynamics with advanced knowledge in at least one of the following areas: aerodynamics, turbulence models, combustion, acoustics, or heat transfer.
- Strong expertise in using commercial CFD tools including geometry modeling, grid generation and post-processing.
- Provide timely, accurate and detailed reports and presentations
Preferred Candidates will possess the following:
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills
1. Working Year : 2-5 years experience in aerodynamic area.
Experience in CD-Adapco is favorable. (Automobile industry is also okay)
2. Education : Master or Ph.D in mechanical/aerospace engineering or a related area.

Job Description:
? Evaluate and develop liquid and vapor two-phase flow heat transfer and pressure drop and flow pattern prediction models based on understanding of the phenomena
? Provide expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics and thermal management systems analysis.
? Control-oriented thermo-fluid system dynamic modeling, including physics-based model development, model calibration, model validation and analyses.
Preferred Qualification:
? MS or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering with 4 years of professional experience.
? Expertise in model development software tools like Dymola, Matlab/Simulink.
? Expertise in scientific computation, especially differential-algebraic equation systems
? Experience in thermo-fluid system control development and system dynamics analyses
? Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
? Solid technical writing, presentation, project management and communication skills.

Job Description:
? Provide expertise in nonlinear contact, structure dynamics and explicit impact analysis, fluid-structure interaction analysis.
? Identify and develop new opportunities with UTC business units focused on new technology validation and product development.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
? MS or PhD degree in Engineering Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering with 0-3 year experience.
? Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
? Finite element modeling experience of contact and dynamic analysis.
? Be familiar with ANSYS and ABAQUS, good at APDL.
? Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer is desired.
? Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
